The steps listed are suggestions for general monthly reconciliation; ultimately, your individual business practices will drive your reconciliation frequency and process. 

QuickBooks Online reconciliation is done through QuickBooks so the processes in the guide would not apply.  Questions that are specific to the QuickBooks software should be directed to the Intuit Help Center.
