Understanding how M1 Status Changes are made

Introduction

Updates to M1 status can be done either manually or automatically.  A status can only be updated automatically if you have set up rules under the Membership RE Settings.  Rules can be applied for when you drop a GZ membership, suspend a membership or reactivate a GZ membership.

The system can only automatically update the status in M1 to Active or Inactive.  For example, if you wish to set up a rule for when you suspend a member your choices will be Active or Inactive. NAR rules state that suspended can only be use in specific circumstances. Refer to NAR for more information on the Suspended status.

Process Flows

Drop a Membership

In GrowthZone, drop the membership on the Overview tab – this will change the status of the agent, in GrowthZone, from Active to Dropped.

  • If a rule has been setup to update M1, M1 will be updated with the status you have chosen in your membership settings. If you wish to show, in M1 something other than what is defined by your rule, change the status on the Realtor® Tab.
  • If you have not setup a rule, you will need to update the M1 status on the Realtor® tab

Reactivate a Membership

In GrowthZone, reactive the membership on the Overview tab – this will change the status of the agent, in GrowthZone, from Dropped to Active.

  • If a rule has been setup to update M1, M1 will be updated with the status you have chosen in your membership settings. If you wish M1 to be changed to something other than what is defined by your rule, change the status on the Realtor® Tab.
  • If you have not setup a rule, you will need to update the M1 status on the Realtor® tab

Suspend a Membership

In GrowthZone, suspend the membership from the Unpaid tab in the Membership module  – this will change the status of the agent, in GrowthZone, to Suspended.

  • If a rule has been setup to update M1, M1 will be updated with the status you have chosen in your membership settings. If you wish M1 to be changed to something other than what is defined by your rule, change the status on the Realtor® Tab. Remember, GrowthZone can not automatically change the M1 status to suspended.
  • If you have not setup a rule, you will need to update the M1 status on the Realtor® tab
