M1 Suspension
print icon

At the beginning of a new NAR education cycle, it may be necessary to suspend agents who have not completed their education requirements. For a limited time period (January and February only) at the beginning of the new cycle, you can affect a Contact's suspension status in M1.

Please see Consequences for Failure to Complete Code of Ethics Training for more information on the impact of an agent's suspension in M1.

How to Complete an M1 Suspension

  1. Go to your desired Contact.
  2. Click on the Real Estate tab, then click on the 'pencil' icon to the right of M1 Information
  3. Change the Contact's Status to suspended in the Status drop-down.
  4. Click Done.

Things to Know

  • If you have a contact who is suspended after the suspension cut-off date (March 1), you will see an 'Error' show up in the Real Estate Error Log.
  • This is NOT the same suspend action as when you suspend a contact in the Memberships tab. The suspend action in the Memberships tab only takes the GrowthZone's membership status and changes it. The suspend action in the Real Estate tab affects the M1 status of a contact.
  • You cannot bulk-suspend Agents.
  • It is ONLY valid for you to suspend a contact at the beginning of a new NAR cycle.
