Reset a user's MFA
print icon

There may be instances where a user's MFA must be reset. For example, the user no longer has access to the device on which the authenticator is installed and they do not have any remaining recovery codes.

IMPORTANT: A user must have MFA enabled in order to reset the MFA authentication for another user.

  1. Click Setup in the lefthand navigation panel.
  2. Click Staff Users in the Staff and Users Access section.
  3. For the desired user, click the ellipsis in the Actions column.
  4. Click Reset MFA.
  5. Click OK to confirm that you wish to reset MFA.

You have now reset the user's MFA Authentication. The next time the user signs in he/she will need to, once again, enable MFA. Refer to MFA Workflow for the instructions on resetting MFA.
