Real Estate Edition ONLY — This feature is available exclusively in the Real Estate Edition of GrowthZone.
The Goal: Understand how GrowthZone automatically reactivates suspended members when they pay their overdue invoice, based on rules configured in Real Estate Settings.
Before You Begin:
- Automated reactivation requires that rules have been configured. Go to Settings, Memberships section, click Real Estate Settings, and set the Days Overdue to Allow Reactivation value.
- See Define Membership Status to NRDS, MLS, Lockbox Status Rules for further information.
How Automated Reactivation Works
- You have manually suspended a member.
- The member pays the overdue invoice.
- The system checks whether there are any additional open invoices.
- If there are no additional open invoices, the member will be reactivated automatically.
- If there are additional open invoices, the system checks whether those invoices are overdue, and by how many days:
- If the number of days overdue exceeds the Days Overdue to Allow Reactivation setting, the member will NOT be reactivated.
- If the number of days overdue is less than the Days Overdue to Allow Reactivation setting, the member will be reactivated.
Common Pitfalls
- Rules not configured: If the Days Overdue to Allow Reactivation setting has not been set in Real Estate Settings, automated reactivation will not function as expected.
- Multiple open invoices: A member who pays one overdue invoice but has other open invoices that exceed the overdue threshold will not be automatically reactivated.
