The Goal: Turn on the MFA Status column on the Staff Users page — under the Settings> Staff & User Access section — so you can see at a glance whether each staff person has enabled MFA, is eligible for MFA, is not eligible, or needs to log in to become eligible. This helps staff administrators identify who needs encouragement to enable MFA and troubleshoot issues.
Before You Begin:
- The MFA Status column is optional and available to all customers — no purchase or request is required to use it.
- The column is off by default, so each staff administrator turns it on for their own view of the table.
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Go to Settings, Staff & User Access section, click Staff Users.
- Click the gear icon in the bottom-left corner of the table.
- In Table Settings, move the Show slider to on for MFA Status, then click Done.
MFA Status Options
Once the column is showing, each staff person displays one of four statuses:
- Enabled — MFA is set up.
- Eligible — MFA is not set up yet, but it is available to them in their menus.
- Log in to become eligible — after they log in, MFA will be available to them.
-
Not Eligible — tenants that are set up on SSO (single sign-on), or for which a data cleanup is needed. If you have any questions about becoming Eligible, please contact Customer Support.

Common Pitfalls
- Reading Eligible as “protected”: Eligible means MFA is available to that person but is not yet set up. Only Enabled means MFA is actually in place.
- Treating "Not Eligible" as a bug: it usually means the tenant is set up on that | SSO or data cleanup is needed. Contact Customer Support with questions about becoming Eligible.
- Looking for the column and not finding it: the column must be enabled per user in Table Settings — if a colleague cannot see it, they need to turn it on in their own view.
