What you can do in the app
- Find a contact and view their details, membership, and billing.
- Take payments in person with Tap to Pay.
- Update a contact's phone number on the go.
- Create a new contact and log notes.
- Find and filter events, and register attendees.
Getting started
Sign in
Start here each time you open the app.
- Open the app.
- Sign in with your credentials.
Find your way around
- Use the tabs to move between Contacts, Events, and Sell.
- Tap your avatar in the top-right corner for the account menu.
Finding & viewing contacts
Find a contact
Look someone up from a single search box.
- Open the Contacts tab.
- Start typing a name — results refine as you type.
- You can also search by email, phone, or company.
Open a contact's details
See everything about a contact in one place.
- Search for the contact and tap their row.
Call a contact or get directions
Jump straight to the phone or maps from a contact.
- Open a contact that has a phone number and an address.
- Tap Call to open your phone dialer, or Directions to open maps.
Update a contact's phone number
Make a quick correction without leaving the app.
- Open a contact and tap the pencil icon next to Phone.
- Change the number and tap Save.
Create a new contact
Add someone who isn't in the system yet — right from the app.
- Search a name that has no match.
- Tap "create a new contact" and choose Individual or Business.
- Fill in the required fields (Save stays unavailable until they're complete) and tap Save.
Notes
Log a note from a contact
Capture a quick note against a contact.
- Open a contact and tap + Log Note.
- Enter a Subject and a Message, then tap Save note.
Review and edit notes
- Open a contact that has notes — each shows a subject, body, and author and date.
- Tap Edit on a note, change the subject or message, and Save.
Memberships, billing & payments
Check memberships and billing
See a contact's membership status and next charge.
- Open a contact and look at the "Membership & billing" section.
Take a payment on an open invoice
Collect a payment in person with Tap to Pay.
- Open a contact who has an outstanding balance and tap Pay.
- Tap Tap to Pay.
- Have the member tap their card to complete the payment.
If payment options don't appear
If you don't see payment or checkout options, it's usually one of two things:
- You're outside the supported service area. Payment features are available only within your supported region; they come back once you're back in range.
- Payments aren't set up yet. The Sell tab shows a prompt to add a payment collection method. You can still use Contacts and Events while this is being set up.
Events
Find and filter events
Get to the right event quickly.
- Open the Events tab.
- Use "Show next 30 days only" to see upcoming events within 30 days, sorted by date.
- Tap Show All Events to see everything.
Register an attendee
Sign someone up for an event.
- Open an event.
- Tap Register Attendee.
Check attendee balances and counts
Confirm fees and turnout.
- Open an event, then open an attendee who has fees.
Signing out
Sign out
- Tap your avatar in the top-right corner.
- Tap Logout.
Common questions
Why don't I see payment or checkout options?
Either you're outside the supported service area (the options return when you're back in range), or payments aren't set up yet (the Sell tab shows a prompt to add a payment method). Contacts and Events keep working either way.
A contact shows no membership — is that wrong?
No. "No active memberships on file" is the normal message for a contact who isn't a member.
Can I create a new contact in the app?
Yes. Search a name with no match, tap "create a new contact," and choose Individual or Business.
Where do I add a note?
Open the contact and tap + Log Note. You can review and edit notes from the contact's Notes section.
Who do I contact if something doesn't look right?
Reach out to your GrowthZone support contact or account team — it helps to note which contact or event you were looking at.
