FLEX - Transfer an Agent to a new Office

It is expected that, over time, agents will move from one office to another. Please perform the steps below to transfer the agent in GrowthZone, once completed in GrowthZone, it will sync over to Flex. (Please note: A past workflow required the transfer to occur in Flex FIRST, before making the transfer in GrowthZone, it is no longer necessary to perform the transfer in Flex first.)

  1. Go to the Real Estate tab of the agent and click the pencil icon to edit the MLS Information.

  2. Turn off the Sync with MLS option. This will ensure that a sync does not occur in the middle of the change and send partial info, resulting in an error. Click Done to save.

  3. Go to the agent's Overview tab and, using standard GrowthZone procedure, link the agent to the new office. See Link an Individual to additional Business/Organization for instructions.
  4. On the Real Estate tab, in the MLS Information section, click the pencil icon again and select the desired office from the Office Tech Id list. NOTE: If the desired office (added to the agent's record in the previous step) is not available for selection, you will first need to add the office to FLEX. See FLEX - Add Office for instructions.

    Click Done to save the changes.
  5. Click the Pencil icon in the MLS Information section again and re-enable the Sync with MLS option.
  6. Back on the agent's Overview tab, remove the agent's previous office from their record. You can view previous office relationships by viewing contact history.

 

The updated agent record will be synced with FLEX in the next 5 minutes.
