The Goal: Understand which payment processors GrowthZone integrates with so you can choose the right one for processing payments inside your database.
Before You Begin:
- You will need staff permissions to configure billing and payment gateway settings.
- Have your processor account details ready (merchant account, gateway credentials) before you start setup.
Step-by-Step Instructions
GrowthZone can integrate with the following payment processors:
- GrowthZone Pay (recommended)
- Authorize.net
- NAR eCommerce (Realtor Associations only)
- AffiniPay (existing AffiniPay customers only; includes LawPay, ClientPay, CPACharge, DesignPay, and others)
It is possible for First Data customers to get an Authorize.net emulator set up through their First Data Contact. You would need to work with First Data Connect for this option.
If you do not work with one of the above mentioned processors you will not have many of the benefits of integration. In order to process payments you would have to add a payment link, on your invoices, pointing to your external processor. A staff member would then manually record the payments in GrowthZone. If using an external processor in this way, we recommend that you setup an external payment type. See Setup Trade & External Payment Types.
Common Pitfalls
- Assuming any processor will integrate: Only the processors listed above connect directly to GrowthZone. If you use a different processor, payments must be recorded manually, so confirm your processor is supported before relying on automated payment capture.
