The Goal: Record an ACH payment made outside of GrowthZone and apply it to an open invoice in the back office.
Before You Begin:
- Have the ACH payment amount and reference number ready.
- NOTE: Members can apply ACH payments directly to an invoice via the Info Hub or the payment portal link on the invoice.
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Open the customer's contact profile and click the Billing tab.
- Click the Actions dropdown next to the invoice and select Enter Check.
- Enter the ACH payment amount and include the reference number in the notes area.
- Click Done to apply the payment.
Common Pitfalls
- Using Enter Check for ACH: The back office uses "Enter Check" as the entry point for ACH payments made outside GrowthZone Pay. This is expected — use it even though the payment was an ACH transfer.
