How it works:
GrowthZone will sync to MRED any additions or changes made to the MLS information on this tab. Records are synchronized every hour. MRED Office and Agent Files created, are zipped into one file and sent every hour to the FTP site.
Syncs during a window: At every 15th minute from 0 through 59 past every hour from 8 through 20.”
to sync more frequently: we'd need to send them info more frequently and they would need to poll more frequently on their end
PROJECT KICK OFF
Overview:
The Integration Specialist reaches out to MRED and the customer to request data files and mapping documents. Testing is done in production.
Ticketing Process for RE Integrations (Review the below and we'll remove the red notation)
- When requesting the API key, the Integration Specialist will CC platformintegrations@growthzone.com email to create a MRED- (Tenant Name) ticket for project visibility. That ticket will then be related to the main Migration ticket.
- All communication with the vendor, for the project, will be tracked in this related ticket. All project movement, communication between GZ Teams, updates, date files, and meeting dates will still be placed in a private note in the main Migration ticket for the Onboarder and Migrations team.
- The purpose of the related MRED- (Tenant Name) ticket is to allow visibility on the vendor communications for all RE Integrations staff. The related MRED- (Tenant Name) ticket will remain In Progress until the full integration is turned on and completed. The RE Integration point of contact for the project will be the Assignee on the related MRED- (Tenant Name).
Data Process:
-
GrowthZone will request the office and agent files by emailing Kris Trojan at MRED kris.trojan@mredllc.com and inform her of the tentative timeline for the project.
-
Request mapping for Statuses, Agent Types, and Office Types
Setup Information can be requested at this time as well or wait until closer to go live:
-
Request FTP credentials: Username & Password
-
MRED customers work off a separate block of numbers for Agents & Offices. Kris will provide the starting number for each closer to go live.
-
Example:
-
|
Board Number: 23 |
|
Association Office ID: 97000 |
|
Office Range: 97000 - 98500 |
|
Agent Range: 970000 - 980500 |

Project Kick-off:
STAGING| REVIEW
- Once the data has been pulled from FLEX and all other integrations, the Integration Specialist will create a staging database.
- Verify the Import Feature Settings are on. Setup -> Import Fetures
- Verify in the Setup -> Real Estate Integrations -> MLS Tab that MRED is selected as the MLS.
- Once all data sources are obtained, and the Staging Database is created, the Integration Specialist will move the ticket to In Review for the Onboarder to move to Migrations when ready.
Once the Staging data has been imported by Migrations, it should be reviewed by Onboarding in conjunction with Platform Integrations and the Customer to ensure that the data was being imported correctly.
-
Go to an Agent & Office record and click the Edit pencil in the MLS Information section. Validate the required fields are filled out per the vendor requirements document.
-
If data is missing or not mapped over correctly, then notify Migrations.
GO LIVE
Coordinate date & time with customer and MRED. Request starting number from Kris Trojan for Agent & Offices prior to go live.
Double check that the GrowthZone Real Estate API has been setup by Implantation Specialist
Go to Setup>Applications>API Key Permissions ***If this is not a visible option in Setup, then the API module needs to be added via tenant settings.
Add starting number for Agent & Offices: Setup the MLS Id Generator in Setup>Integrations>Real Estate Settings:
Add MLS Mappings
Add MLS FTP Upload information
Transfer Mode = FTP
Server = ftp.mredllc.com This will be the same for all GrowthZone customers.
Path = use middle section of the User Name
User Name = provided by MRED and different for each customer
Password = provided by MRED and different for each customer
MLS Board Number = I believe this isn’t used for most, but can be populated with the same information used for the Path
6. Check “Sync to MLS” and set MLS Go Live date & time Remember to set the time for at least 2hrs from the time you are completing this to allow for all contacts to get to IIT. For example, if it is 8:00 AM set the go live time to 10:00 AM.
