How it works:
Stellar MLS uses our Reso Standard API to connect and pull changes from GrowthZone.
Timing of Integration: Call is 4 times a day - 10:00 AM / Noon / 3:00 PM / 6:00 PM
PROJECT KICKOFF
Overview:
The Integration Specialist contacts Stellar to receive data files and mapping document for imports. and the customer to recieve an API key that is used to both pull data, and for turning on/testing the integration. Testing is done only in Production. Delays can be caused by waiting for the API Key, and small delays have occured when switching the API from read to write.
Ticketing Process for RE Integrations (Review the below and we'll remove the red notation)
- When first requesting files and mapping documents, the Integration Specialist will CC the platformintegrations@growthzone.com email to create a Stellar- (Tenant Name) ticket for project visibility. That ticket will then be related to the main Migration ticket.
- All communication with the vendor, for the project, will be tracked in this related ticket. All project movement, communication between GZ Teams, updates, date files, and meeting dates will still be placed in a private note in the main Migration ticket for the Onboarder and Migrations team.
- The purpose of the related Stellar - (Tenant Name) ticket is to allow visibility on the vendor communications for all RE Integrations staff. The related Stellar- (Tenant Name) ticket will remain In Progress until the full integration is turned on and completed. The RE Integration point of contact for the project will be the Assignee on the related Stellar- (Tenant Name).
Data Process:
Stellar MLS will provide data files to use to convert the data into GrowthZone. Request data files by emailing Alvaro Quesada <alvaro.quesada@stellarmls.com>; Kimberley Crawford <kimberley.crawford@stellarMLS.com>; David Cox <David.Cox@stellarmls.com>. They also like to be part of the kick-off call to discuss their process and to make note of a tentative go-live timeframe.
Make sure to also request the mapping for the vendor code and the display values for Statuses and User Classes:

STAGING| TESTING
- Once the data has been pulled from Stellar and all other integrations, the Integration Specialist will create a staging database.
- Verify the Import Feature Settings are on. Setup -> Import Features

- Verify in the Setup -> Real Estate Integrations -> MLS Tab that FLEX is selected as the MLS.
- Stellar MLS would prefer to test about a month out from go live, coordinate timing with Frank Barnes and Kimberly Crawford. Kimberly will work with Dan Hopson on getting the Clareity SSO integration completed.
- Once all data sources are obtained, and the Staging Database is created, the Integration Specialist will move the ticket to In Review for the Onboarder to move to Migrations when ready.
Once the Staging data has been imported by Migrations, it should be reviewed by Onboarding in conjunction with Platform Integrations and the Customer to ensure that the data was being imported correctly.
Setup:

Double check that the GrowthZone Real Estate API has been setup by Integration Specialist
Go to Setup>Applications>API Key Permissions ***If this is not a visible option in Setup, then the API module needs to be added via tenant settings.
Add API Key for Stellar MLS:
Go to Setup>Applications>API Key Permissions, and add “Stellar MLS”
Set up the Real Estate Edition Settings for the tenant:

Set the MLS Type to “Standard”

Set Section Title to “Stellar MLS”

Select sync to MLS

Set the MLS Go Live time as now.

Fill out the Affiliate ID ***this Id can be whatever makes between Stellar & GrowthZone

Add Status, Agent Type, Office Type and User Classes

Select “Save” when you are done.
5. Force Kafka: Go to Setup>GrowthZone Staff Only Tools>Kafka Utilities>Force Changed Contact Kafka
6. Add Alvaro Quesada as a Staff User in their Staging tenant: Frank does all of the testing and will confirm once he is ready for go live.
7. Turn off Sync - after testing is completed, turn off the sync by going to Setup>Integrations>Real Estate Settings>remove sync checkbox & save
GO LIVE
Coordinate Go Live date & time with customer and Stellar MLS. Cannot go live on Fridays!

Once Migrations has completed their task, complete the steps 1 - 4 (as noted above), but this time in their production environment, except for:

When checking the “Sync to MLS” flag, set the go live date & time. Remember to set the time for at least 2hrs from the time you are completing this to allow for all contacts to get to IIT. For example, if it is 8:00 AM set the go live time to 10:00 AM.

Then, go to Setup>GrowthZone Staff Only Tools>Kafka Utilities>Force Changed Contact Kafka
- Note: if there are other integrations being set up at the same time (NRDS/MLS) you only need to force the Kafka once after all are setup (NRDS, LockBox, and MLS (if applicable)
NOTE: Frank at Stellar will also request to be added as a staff user in their live database. Be sure when adding him under setup > staff users > click the advance box under add and enter his email into the Staff login from another tenant.
