Hello Carma,
This is a follow-up to the ticket you and I are working on where the wrong billing year was transmitted as people submitted their payments. We are still waiting for a response from NRDS support if they will be able to help with updating the agent records. I was able to get some more insight into how these transactions process through NRDS for the financial tracking as you had asked if there is a way for the reporting in NRDS to show multiple dues agents bills being paid by a single person showing under the paying person's NRDS ID. What I found out is that NRDS does not have a way to split these payments out in the reporting. This for them is a small scenario in that NAR dues are meant to be paid by the individual and not a broker or office assistant paying for multiple members' dues. A big part of this is the PAC payments, in some states it is actually illegal for someone else to pay for another member's RPAC. California is one state that has this in place.
The good news is that GrowthZone does have something in place to help where we are able to for these scenarios. As long as your NRDS financial sync is turned on (I checked and the "Enable Sync - One-Way to Financial" is turned on for your association) GrowthZone does send the request to M1 to add the payments to the agent's record. This will not help with the reconciliation reporting but will update the member's financial records when a broker does pay for multiple agents' dues invoices. Being that we have corrected your dues billing for 2023, the correct year will now be transmitted the next time you do your annual billing.
I apologize for the length of response on this one, but wanted to reassure you that we built the dues to help where we are able to given the processes for NAR and M1.
I will follow up again after we hear back from NRDS help on the 2022 billing records,
Thank you and I hope you have a fantastic weekend,
